Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: September 17, 2026.
The short version
Some links on PawVerity are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, the company may pay us a commission — at no extra cost to you. Commissions fund the site. They do not affect our rubric scores, our rankings, or our verdicts. If a product is bad, we say so, commission or not.
What that means in practice
- Every affiliate link on this site carries
rel="sponsored nofollow"in its code, identifying it as a paid relationship to search engines. - Disclosure appears before the first affiliate link on every page that contains one — in the page intro, not buried at the bottom.
- Prices and availability change. We don't publish prices because they move; always confirm at checkout.
- We link only to products we'd recommend anyway. An affiliate relationship never creates a recommendation — the recommendation comes first, from the rubric.
Companies whose affiliate programs we participate in
As of September 2026, PawVerity participates in, or may join, the affiliate programs of:
- PetLab Co — pet supplements (joint care, probiotics, dental)
- Petlibro — smart pet feeders and fountains
- Embark Veterinary — dog DNA tests
- The Farmer's Dog — fresh dog food subscriptions
- Ollie — fresh and baked dog food subscriptions
We also review products from companies we have no affiliate relationship with — including Wisdom Panel in our DNA test comparison — because an honest comparison demands every serious option, commission or not. When an affiliate relationship begins or ends, this list is updated.
What we don't do
- We don't sell placement. No company can pay for a better rubric score, a higher ranking, or a softer verdict.
- We don't publish paid reviews. Every review reflects our independent editorial judgment.
- We don't collect your payment information — purchases happen on the merchant's site, under their terms and privacy policy.
Why this page exists
The FTC's endorsement guidelines require clear, conspicuous disclosure of material connections between reviewers and the companies they review. This page is our standing disclosure; per-page notices point back here. If you ever feel a disclosure is missing or unclear, tell us — we'll fix it.
